Residntial condo location. Currently installed in back of unit utility closet (hot water tank), wall mount. Very erratic WiFi performance. Moving it out into open area of living space, ceiling mount giving better faster results. Unable to find info related to installation location and physical barriers or interference.

Hi @Seniorchief ,The installation location of the AP is best in a open space. As you mentioned, the open living space is good if it's not near the beam or column to avoid the wireless signal to be reduced/blocked.The NAP203 is able to set with wall mount or ceiling mount, so if you mount it on the ceiling, please check the setting is correct in Access Point> Configure> Radio.

If you want to use a NAP203 to cover the whole house, please note that the wall or the door might reduce the signal (based on the material). So, if needed, please use the wireless scan tools to do the site survey to make sure the users can use the wireless in the room with signal > -65dBm.
