I have a VMG1312-B10D modem-router and I want to share a WD My Book disk. I connect it to the modem, it shows up on "USB service", I choose a folder to share (public) and it also shows up. Everything looks fine. But I can't locate the shared folder on my windows 10 computer! Where do I look?? It's not under "network" and it doesn't show up on "homegroup".

If you in Windows Explorer write IP of the router, for example \\192.168.1.1 Does it show up?

Oh and i've downloaded the filezilla to connect as suggested in the user guide, but the "mnt" folder doesn't show up. Only "data" and "fw" folders.

    Hi happiness,

Have you try to create a new user at the file sharing page?

    Hi Happiness !
You should "add a network location".
Everything is well shown by the Techrepublic team friends here:
