How start OMV correctly? "Failed to connect to socket: No such file or directory" at OMV login

Dears,
when I insert login and passwprd in the OMV weblogin i receive the error: "Failed to connect to socket: No such file or directory"
The "show details" button tells:
---8<---
---8<---
Googling I found this: https://forum.openmediavault.org/index.php/Thread/22324-Failed-to-connect-to-socket-Connection-refused/
In fact, running "omv-engined -f -d" I am able to access OMV correctly, anyway the problem is the same at the following reboot.
Should that be helpful I am attaching the bootlog.
1. I took the img file "debian-nas-stretch-18.069-armhf.img.gz" from here http://seafile.servator.de/nas/zyxel/images/
2. I installed aptitude and run an update of all the available packages.
3. Other info: OMV version: 4.1.19-1
4. I did not update the kernel. Version installed is 3.2.54.
Thank you in advance for your support.
Regards,
Matteo.

I simply updated the kernel with version 3.2.96 and now it runs as expected.
