Ich habe Entware installiert. Entware hat kein Icon?
Aber die Package-Liste ist leer, Fehler 404.
Außerdem:
root@NAS326:/# opkg update
-sh: opkg: command not found
Was kann ich tun. Habe schon mehrmals Entware installiertund deinstalliert - aber ohne Erfolg.
Vielen Dank für Eure Hilfe
Gruß Robert

It's right that there is no icon. And also that the packages page in the webinterface gives a 404. The latter is caused by an automagic update to Entware 3, which confuses the web backend. That's only cosmetical, though.

Your actual problem is probably caused by the package profile-hook not being installed. More info here:

    How to install Profile-Hook??
The link does not include how to install the missing profile hook. Also anywhere else on the Internet to find. Funny that only I have this problem. Today I again took a new hard drive and rebuilt Zyxel-Nas - same problem. Why does not work.
Profile Hook is not installed and not documented.
I hope someone can help me, or how do the other users?

That thread I pointed to is from another 326 having the same problem. May the oldest logfile (downloadable via the webinterface) can tell why it doesn't work.

    Unfortunately, no success!

    ~ # /opt/bin/opkg update
Updated list of available packages in /opt/var/opkg-lists/entware
    Collected errors:
     * opkg_conf_parse_file: Duplicate src declaration (entware http://bin.entware.net/armv7sf-k2.6). Skipping.

I think your /opt/etc/opkg.conf file is corrupted. The Entware-ng package installs Entware-ng, but meanwhile Entware-ng is deprecated, and updates itself to Entware during install.
I have fixed that problem, but it's not thoroughly tested, and the package is only available using the zyxel.diskstation.eu repo.

The contents of the file on my system are:
    src/gz entware http://bin.entware.net/armv7sf-k2.6<br><div>src/gz Mijzelf http://downloads.zyxel.nas-central.org/Users/Mijzelf/Entware-ng/binaries/armv7<br>dest root /<br>dest ram /opt/tmp<br>lists_dir ext /opt/var/opkg-lists<br>option tmp_dir /opt/tmp<br>arch all 100<br>arch armv7soft 150<br>arch armv7-2.6 160<br></div>

I posted my log file I think in the end the problem "unknown package 'profile-hook'" appears.

What is the exact solution to use opkg properly?

    Thanks in advance! :-)

What is the exact step-by-step-solution for this issue? I do not get your last comment, mijzelf to be honest.

    Thanks in advance!

That looks OK, except that it tries to use nas-central.org, which is down.
To solve that, you have to edit /opt/etc/opkg.conf , and change
    in

    After that you can execute
    <div>/opt/bin/opkg update</div><div><br></div><div>/opt/bin/opkg install profile-hook<br></div>
After logging out and logging in again the problem should be solved.

I am going to try that! Thank you very much!

    Aaaaand works! :)

Edit: Ok, at least I thought it would. But still after login I get the error -sh: opkg: not found :(

Long shot, you have also installed ffp? If yes, read the page on the Entware-ng webpage about ffp and Entware-ng coexisting.
