Hi all,
i need to configure a VMG8825-B50B [ Firmware VMG8825-B50B_5.13(ABNY.4)C0 ] for VDSL bridge mode without lost VOIP connectivity.
Router B is a router that has his WAN interface connected on the Eth4 port 4 of the Zyxel

I'm testing this configuration:
- Broadband VDSL in ptm bridge mode on the zyxel
- Group interface modified to associate Eth4 to VDSL on the Zyxel
- EtherWAN in DHCP mode as default gateway and NAT on the Zyxel
- Voip service mapped on EthWAN

If I start the zyxel and attached the router B all works fine and I have public ip address on the wan of the router B. When I connect the EthWAN I lost VDSL connection because the Zyxel attempt to use internet on the WAN.
Please can you explain me how I can change the priority of the WAN connection so I don't loos VDSL and mantain voip connection ?

Regards

If you use Interface Grouping to associate ETH4 to VDSL WAN Interface, then your router should not try to use the other WAN interface. Can you please check your relevant settings again? Please take screenshots of your WAN Interface settings, Interface Grouping settings and post them for a reference.

I also don't see any problem from your settings.
LAN4 and VDSL are grouped together which means your router connects to LAN4 should go through VDSL WAN interface not Ethernet WAN interface. But according to your description, you think it goes through Ethernet WAN when you connect ETH WAN to Internet. It sounds strange.
And from your logs, xDSL link was down first (xDSL: XTM link down) and then your EthWAN got the connection.(Wan interface ETHWAN connection ready) Any idea why the xDSL link goes down when you connect EthWAN? Can you show your topology to let us know how you connect VMG8825 to VDSL modem and EthWAN at the same time?
