VMG8924-B10D logs don't display in Web UI

Hi,
In my VMG8924-B10D settings, I've enabled local logging ("Log Setting" -> "Syslog Setting" -> "Local File").
But when I go to the log UI ("System Monitor" -> "Log"), I'm greeted by a pop-up which says "It is impossible to retrieve the information now. Please try again".
Yet, if I click on "export log", I get a file text which does contain the device logs.
How can I have the logs displayed directly in the "Log" UI? Downloading the file each time I want to view them is tedious...

You can check it in the user guide.

I already read through the user guide. This doesn't answer my question at all (have you read it?).

Try not to enable Syslog logging in Syslog Setting. ("Log Setting" -> "Syslog Setting" ).In the user guide, it says "The Zyxel Device sends a log to an external syslog server." So if you only want to see the log on the GUI, you don't need to enable it.

Hello @__ap__
I get that same error message occasionally from the Web GUI on my VMG1312-B10D running the latest firmware.
I have got my VMG1312-B10D outputting to a local file and to external syslog server following the instructions in the user guide.
I am using Paessler PRTG Network Monitor and there is a free download of that at https://www.paessler.com/prtg?msclkid=19a7bfa5feaa12bc9fdee04d27ed9739&utm_source=bing&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=GBR_EN_Search-Brand_exact_2&utm_term=paessler%20prtg&utm_content=paessler-prtg
I hope that this is helpful.
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
