Hey, @Zyxel_Steven is this firmware update going to be released for GS1200-8 v2 as well?
I'm waiting for it and it seems a bit odd that the new version of the same switch is not kept updated as the old one.

In my opinion, the GS1200 series of switches are essentially SOHO devices,

as evidenced by the $25 price tag for the GS1200-5 on Amazon and other sites.

If you have reason to be concerned about the default VLAN,

or the management VLAN on your switches, then it's probably

not a good idea to invest in switches that are on the low end

of the price/performance spectrum.

Always best to go with a slightly better model,

for future expansion. . .

This issue has been fixed for GS1200-8 v1 and I'm asking when it will be fixed for v2 as well.
I don't get the relevance of your comment.
