[NEBULA] How to connect server to Zyxel XGS1930-28 SFP+ port

Hello, we have a server With 10GB nettwork card that i would like to Connect to the sfp+ 10GB port on a Zyxel XGS1930-28 if that is possible?

The nettwork card on the server is rj-45, and i cannot seem to find a sfp+ module for the xgs1930-28 that supports higher than 1GB. However i found a sfp+ from another wendor (Ubiquiti U Fiber UF-RJ45-10G) but im not sure if that would work.

Can anyone give me some tips here on how i can get my server Connected to the sfp+ ports on the switch?

Hello @Snohetta

Sorry, we don't have SFP 10G (fiber to copper) in datasheet and neither guarantee third party transceiver, but if you got a Ubiquiti transceiver in hand, you may give it a try and share the result for us. ?

I tried this one, to connect a 10 GBe port RJ45 of a QNAP to SFP+ with no success:

H!Fiber.com 10G SFP+ Copper RJ45 Transceiver

Blue light on the SFP+ port of the Zyxel is on, but Nebula shows no connection.

Funny thing is that in the QNAP console the port appears to be connected.

I need to correct my a.m. message....

After rebooting the switch, with the transceiver left inside, the 10 GB connection is working!!!
