NAS 326 findme does not work

    Guys , absoulty the same problem - it cant  pair.



    1. Does router support UPnP?
    YES


    2. Does MyZyxelCloud portal find the device?
    YES


    3. Does the NAS receive the correct IP address and DNS address?
    YES




    4. Do not use NAS's IP as DNS address, try Google DNS or router's gateway to be the DNS in NAS.
    YES - tried with all kinds of configs , Google DNS , ISP provided DNS , router DNS - noting 
    The nas has external connection - its all good.


    5. Does NAS find the UPnP router and show in the UPnP Port Mapping page?
    YES

    6. Is there any device between NAS and router?
    No -its direct attach to the router 


    7. Try to unpair device via uppair button in MyZyxelCloud in NAS.
    I cant unpair something that is not paired !


    8. Reinstall MyZyxelCloud APP and try again.

    Done that several times . Effect = 0

    9. Try : pidof zyxel_button_checkd | xargs kill -SIGUSR1

    No effect:
    Here is what happaned:
    ~ $ pidof zyxel_button_checkd | xargs kill -SIGUSR1
    kill: you need to specify whom to kill
    ~ $ su

    kill: you need to specify whom to kill

    Same thing - NOTHING.

    When you pushed the pair button, does the LED of the copy/sync button light(flicker) on NAS326?
    What is the result of "Network Diagnosis"? Do you try to set the DNS as 8.8.8.8?

    The LED starts flickering the moment I press pair on the web site. After that pressing the button does noting. I also tried not pressing at all - nothing.  
    About the Network diagnosis -yes they are listed ass "success"
    If you read my post more deeply you will find out that I did use that and other PUBLIC and PRIVATE DNS servers - no result.  Looks like link is detached on the Zyxel website.

    Is your location in Europe? 

    When it still cannot pair after tried everything,  you may contact SUPPORT for RMA (Return Material Authorization) to replace your NAS326.
