is it possibel to upgrade a GS1200-5HP with V2?
i need the mirror functionality

    Hi @michlx

    Welcome to our Community Forum!

    So far, v1 and v2 switch is different in Hardware, Driver and more.

    So you can´t apply v2 firmware to v1 switch.

    Mirror feature need v2 hardware, so the only option is to change hardware to v2 generation.

    Does the GS1200-5 (without HP) support mirriring? Or do i need V2 there too? How can I differentiate between V1 and V2 when buying?

    only v2 model support it.

    You can go to check part number to see if it´s v2:

    GS1200-5HPV2-EU0101F
