    Before I do that, I want to get some important data already through the console.
    Since scp is not installed and curl is behaving awkward, is there any other program that you may know of, that I can use to transfer data from the cl to my windows machine? 

    I don't know all of the installed commands on the Zyxel machines.

    Windows machine? Assuming that you have shell access using ssh, you can use WinSCP. Or you can edit /etc/samba/smb.conf to create shares on your manually mounted filesystem, and restart samba. (/etc/init.d/samba.sh restart).
