GS1920-24HP password reset without access

Hi, 

I have inherited on site a GS1920-24HP and my predecessor's documentation skills are a little lacking - there doesn't seem to be a note of the user / pwd to access this device.

I have tried the default (admin / 1234) and this isn't working - any suggestions?

    Welcome to Zyxel community!
    Your GS1920-24HP had added to Nebula control center, right?
    You may go to side-wide > configure > general setting > Device configuration > Local credentials to find the site-wide password.

    Hi, unfortunately not - that is the newer one - we have an existing GS1920 that I have inherited that I can't get onto the Nebula control center yet

    also.. the one that is on the control centre is showing offline for some reason?

    Hi @daveclarkie

    If your GS1920-24HP is version 1, please press the restore button on the right side of the switch for about 10 seconds to factory default your switch.

    If your GS1920-24HP is version 2, please press the restore button on the front side of the switch for about 10 seconds to factory default your switch.


    Then you will be able to use the default password to access your switch.
