SFP+ uplinkport on XGS1930-52HP switch

Can we connect our server with a SFP+ Nic with this port or is the port only for uplink.

    @JackAninco don't quote me on that, but even another switch is a "nic" for a switch port.
    Therefore, should work, IMVHO. You can still checkup the switch manual for more detailed info.

    We are looking to make the connection. I see i can switch the Media type of the port to DAC 10G.
    So i suppose i can connect my server. Do we need an Active or a passive dac cable.
    I cannot find any info about this in the manual of the switch.

    If the cable is longer than 3m then we recommend using active DAC or Active optical cable if it is short than 1m then use passive DAC.
