Mijzelf, i'd like to kiss you right now, that exactly sorted my box out!MetaRepo updated as you said and now it all looks more or less ok here!Glad I didn't reset as wouldn't have known what was wrong, I always prefer to fix if possible.Lessons..1) disable old packages before updating, especially if unofficial packages.2) remember packages are stored on the hdd, not internal! so pulling the hdd is a quick easy check.any more?huge thanks man!0

turns out FFP actually has a warning about removing it before firmware updates. Oops! I should have done that then. Because i hadn't used for years, I forgot what i'd already done.
I'll see if I can rename this thread, because NFS wasn't really the issue at all...0
