Hi,

1 out of 3 of my NWA1123-ACv2 APs will not upgrade to the latest firmware - V5.45 (ABEL.1)C0, it repeatedly fails (orange and green flashing led) and has to be rebooted for it to start working again.

I've tried forcing it to update via the console and also let it try updating via the site scheduled day/time and all fail.

Has anyone else seem this?

Kind regards, Daniel

As a heads up, with the help of @Nebula_Dean it turned out that the internal memory of the AP in question had issues which was causing the firmware update issue.

Getting a replacement AP via RMA, has upgraded without issue and is now working as expected.

how did you try forcing upgrade with the console? is there a way to do that?
the leds blinking pattern should be an indication of status, maybe you can know in what state the AP is in

have you tried resetting the device then upgrade after it finish sync?

According to the led combination the AP is trying to find the NCC, but it can't. For some reason the device never gets the DHCP address it was previously using, rebooting the AP but performing a full power off and on, brings it back up, gets it's DHCP lease and connects to the NCC.

after rebooting and getting dhcp reconnect again, did it then able to upgrade?
you can try setting it as static IP if dhcp is the problem.

Even setting a static IP address on the AP doesn't solve the issue.
