USG20-VPN Unable to log in after upgrading the firmware

My device is usg20-vpn

The original version was 4.16. To update to the latest version 5.36.

I directly download the bin file of 536ABAQ1C0 from the official website

Upload to the device

But after the update, I can't log in with my account password.

I can't get in even if I use the default account admin password 1234

I wonder if any of you have encountered the same problem?

Can you give me some answers or suggestions, thanks

1: try to flush the cache of your browser
2: try to login using the "incognito" mode of your favourite browser
3: try to login using another browser
4: try to write down your password on notepad/something similar before inputting that on the password field of your device

Question: does your password have any special character(s)? Would you please share which eventually is?

My password is 1234 so no special characters

In the end, I restored the version back to the original version, and then threw back the backup config, so it was restored to the original state

The main reason is that I don’t know if I can upgrade the version directly, or there must be an upgrade path
