[NEBULA] Whatsapp - round times

Hi,
we are implementing a wireless solution at a school. It turns out that response time for whatsapp-users is pretty high when on wifi, changing to the 4G -network delivers almost immediately. (Takes about a minute to receive/send a message). 

Any idea?

    Are you connecting to the 2.4G or 5G radio?
    How many APs are in this school?
    Were you able to verify which AP your device is connected to?
    What about the signal strength between AP and station?

    Sometimes you could be standing directly under an AP only to find out you are connected under a different one.

    Hi,

    the problem seems to occur on all AP's...
    We are using a mixture of AP-models (NWA1123-ACv2 and NAP303) over zyxel switches and passing throuhgh a NSG-200 to be uplinked to our "corporate firewall' (Watchguard)

    Working through the Watchguard directly does not give a problem, so it must be something on the Wireless...

    Hi,

    Done some more testing and is seems that it has something to do with the categories for content filtering on the NSG-200. 
    I tested and checked the categories for WhatsApp and they were not blocked, so I turned off all of the contentcategories...Result: all of a sudden everything worked perfect!
    I have a feeling that there's something going wrong with the filtering...
