[NEBULA] Whatsapp - slow response time

Hi,
we are implementing a wireless solution at a school. It turns out that response time for whatsapp-users is pretty high when on wifi, changing to the 4G -network delivers almost immediately. (Takes about a minute to receive/send a message). 

Any idea?

    Hi all,

    don't know what happened but I did a complete rebuild from scratch and the problem is gone...

    Only wahtsapp is affected or is there other service encounter the same problem?
    What's your topology looks like.

    As far as we can see i'ts only Whatsapp...iMessage and FB Messenger 
    are working perfect

    Hi,

    Done some more testing and is seems that it has something to do with the categories for content filtering on the NSG-200. 
    I tested and checked the categories for WhatsApp and they were not blocked, so I turned off all of the contentcategories...Result: all of a sudden everything worked perfect!
    I have a feeling that there's something going wrong with the filtering...

    May I know which CF categories have you enabled before?

    Hello,
    I have enable those category however didn't encounter the same symptom, may I know beside the CF which NSS service has you enable? IDP and APP patrol monitor
    BTW, could you also let me know your ISP bandwidth and how many users in this scenario?
