Dark black screen Issue on Zyxel Armor G5 (AX6000) Web Interface

Hi everyone,

Super dark black screen appears when I try to access the web interface of my Zyxel Armor G5 (AX6000) router. After logging in, the dashboard fails to load, and the screen remains blank. The internet connection itself is working fine, but I cannot access or modify any router settings.

I have already tried restarting the router, clearing my browser cache, and accessing the interface from different devices, but the issue persists.

Has anyone experienced this dark black screen problem? Are there any troubleshooting steps I can try to resolve the bright black screen issue? Give me suggestions ,Thank you .

    Hi @romromillys ,

    I was unable to reproduce the issue you described with the local GUI. In my testing, the interface displays normally and allows configuration changes through the menu.

    Please specify which connection method you're using to access the Armor G5: Wired (Ethernet) connection or wireless connection?

    We recommend testing accessing the local GUI using both connection methods and verify if the interface displays properly in each case.

    Important Note: Please be aware that the Armor G5 has reached its Development End of Life (EOL) status. As a result, no new firmware updates will be released for this device.

    Thank you for your response. I accessed the Armor G5 via a wireless connection and encountered the issue, but I will test using a wired (Ethernet) connection as suggested and update accordingly. Additionally, I noticed a persistent black screen https://blackscreen.onl/ issue when attempting to access certain settings in the GUI. Could this be related to the EOL status? Thank you for the clarification.
