In theory it should work. In reality it does not. At least not for me. Do not know why yet. The Windows SoftEther client works immediately. Android won't work no matter what I try. It may also be a problem because cable ISPs don't give real IPs.They use Dual Stack / DS Lite. So maybe OpenVPN is unable to connect due to…

Awesome, set the environment variable and now it works as it should! Will copy the files to the ffp directory and set the variable accordingly. Now all that is left to achieve is getting an Android device to connect to the server. OpenVPN does not work. Android's ownVPN does not work. And I justheard back from the…

Here are the two logfiles (without actually running the start command). Would it actually be possible to merge the system with ffp and the toolchain and have all of the command as one? Without ffp a lot of stuff is missing. But without toolchain you don't even have a make.

I ran printenv as normal admin, then as superuser and then in the toolchain after chroot: admin@NSA325-v2-101:/e-data/e9902f35-4024-4b41-9626-08c2131c6531/toolchain$…

Portforwarding won't be an option. Unfortunately the cable routers provided by my ISP does not allow... well.. anything, really. I will check the environment when I get home.

Okay, I manually deleted the NAT/DHCP settings from the config file and reconfigured using different IP range. Seems to be working. Will need to test from my mobile phone next to see if I am really using the VPN properly. Edit: Seems like Android needs port 443 which is blocked. Will need to check which process is blocking…

Ahhh. Okay. I thought it needed to be the same IP range so it would be compatible with the rest of the network. Or what do you mean with different range? All my network devices are somewhere between 192.168.2.100-200. I assigned the VPN/NAS server the range 192.168.2.201-210. So there cannot be an overlap. Or do you mean I…

Edit 2: I believe that the server becoming unresponsive might be linked to enabling the NAT / DHCP Server settings. This is when the server became unresponsive the last time as well.

It was on the precompiled package. When I try to run it in a different location or without starting the chroot.sh I get -- Alert: SoftEther VPN Kernel -- String Library Init Failed. Please check your locale settings and iconv() libraries. I built and am running it as root. The crash appears to be random because sometimes I…

I ran the make command with the gcc toolchain. It also only starts when running the toolchain. A while is somewhere between 5-30 min. I was still in the process of the initial configuration via the Windows server manager tool when it first crashed the NAS. I tried two more times and after a few minutes the NAS becomes…

Hmm, I have managed to get it up and running but it always crashes the server after a while. Maybe the NSA325v2 isn't powerful enough?

I sucessfully compiled it and will give it a go later. Let's see how far I'll get :-)

You mean create a symlink or what kind of linking to you mean? Can I install the native toolchain with MetaRepository somehow? I copied the file to my NAS but not quite sure how to get it up and running and what to do once it is installed. Also, the Softether Linux files include a vpnserver.a but not actually the vpnserver…

That's where I looked, but when I select VPN Server- Linux - ARMEABI there are 72 files and none of them a precompiled. Or am I going blind?
