You can check the status page of your router, it should has WAN IP information. And you can try to ping the domain name (host_name.zyxel.me), the result of IP should be the same with your router's WAN IP. Or checked it on myZyxelCloud (https://mycloud.zyxel.com/).

What is WAN type of your router? DHCP or PPPoE or ... Does WAN IP of your router as Public IP or Private IP?

Balance XOR: This mode balances the network traffic received and sent by your NAS, and requires Static Link Aggregation to be enabled on the switch(es). I think it is Balance XOR, but you may need to contact QNAP Technical support for the confirmation about which "Port Trunking Mode" need to select on QNAP D4.

Hi Baloo247, I'm directly connected my two Multy X nodes via Ethernet cable and it works, for your reference. First, you need to setup two Multy X nodes to use wireless backhaul, then use Ethernet cable to connect each other directly.
