Nope. Neither does. So, How do I fixed that problem with the raid members if I can't even log in with the hard drive put in. BTW, I got another 12TB in and it works fine now got it locked and loaded on bay #1.

I'll be darns, It didn't beeps without the hard drive in. I was able to reset the admin password. Hopefully I can put back the hard drive and it will mount ok. EDIT: Well looks like the one of the hard drive won't load correctly, and I can't log in to admin it. EDIT 2: How the heck did my files got corrupted. I just…

Yes, I am aware. The constantly beeping comes later after it was on for about 2 or 3 minutes maybe more. I hopes the circuit wasn't blown.

@Hanamichi It's not the new hard drive I am having problems with. I already returned it. This is with my original hard drives that I had installed and was working. Now it's not.

Yeah, I think so.

Nope, it doesn't work. At least when I tried it, it didn't.

Did you selected auto reconnected for your network drive?

What is your NIC adapter speed on your PC? And what Category Cable did you used? (CAT5, CAT5e, CAT6, CAT7). It could be that the capacity of the speed only goes as fast as the hardware. You could have a Gigabit Router, but if your PC NIC only run 100mbps speed for example, or your CAT is 5. It can can only goes up to…

You did nothing wrong. DNS didn't resolved and find your NAS326, I have the same problems with mine. It's something between your router and NAS326 not being compatible (working together) for some reason. So, automatic configuration won't works. You'll have to do a manual configuration instead.

Agreed wit TY9527 100%. Go for the highest RAID possible. Now I wishes I had that option for my NAS. LOL!

Version conflicts 32bit vs 64bit, I presumed. Can you run it in backward compatibility mode?
-
More or less the same concept, for DNS. :D Sorry buddy, port redirection is not my expertise. I am more of the Server and OS guy. A little bit of the Networks, and that was a long time ago. The rest I leave it to the Infrastructure guys to deal with now a day. Back when I used to take cisco router course, that is how I…

Agreed with Mijzelf on this, it's the network related problem, especially if streaming works well with LAN. @0101OSX - What type of WAN speed connection do you have going out of your house? If you have something like a dialup or DSL your video definitely will be like what you said.

There we go, you got it now. :) ;) Enjoy your new NAS (oh I meant your old/new NAS) ;)

No, no, no, your modem/router supplied your NAS IP Address. Google won't give that to you. Check your network to see your NAS IP Address.
