  • I think the issue is still unresolved. While I used to use the auto sync feature it appears the function may take such a long time to upload/download larger files. Therefore, I prefer to manually upload/download these files to the server instead of using the feature.
  • Not recommend to do this, this does not expand the size of your volume when you're using raid 5. It will choose the smallest size of your disk as your maximum size since you're using Raid 5. If you would like to expand your volume size, You have to change to 4tb +4tb +4tb+4tb.
  • There is no way to add a volume into the disk group which created to a volume already. To add the disk into new disk group need to backup the data firstly, and then delete the volume and create a new disk group volume.
  • Maybe you can add the path into your repo. You can refer to this article https://community.zyxel.com/en/discussion/comment/39795#Comment_39795
  • The disk shows a bad status, there is another page called S.M.A.R.T info, you can check the details information in the log.
  • The USB ports on the NAS are intended for external drives Unlike other NASs. To add the NAS into your network, you can put the NAS directly under the router or AP and connect directly with RJ45 ethernet cable.
  • You might check the drives diagnostic info (S.M.A.R.T) data You can check your hard disk status, and check the S.M.A.R.T info to see if there is any part of your disk may be caused by bad sectors on the hard drive.
  • You can try ssh to device with tool "putty", then access with "root" user which has the same password as admin, with root user you'll have a full privilege to rename the files.
  • Yes, creating a new volume will erase the data on your disk
  • I think if the camera could find your NAS, you can set up the path for your IP camera and check if the IP camera could upload the file to the NAS.

  • Not sure what issue you meet, maybe you can check the disk has plugged on the track correctly.
  • You can check if you're using enough power supply for your NAS. If you try with only one disk in the NAS and create a Jbod type, I think it will work.
  • I do not have NAS325v2, there is a way to downgrade the firmware. You can refer to this article. https://community.zyxel.com/en/discussion/comment/25468#Comment_25468
  • I've uploaded 500GB of video files, and all of them are below 200MB in size. Not sure if only larger files are affected by this issue. But I do not meet the case. Do all the video files have the same file extensions in the same folder? If you upload a file through the NAS web GUI, does the corruption persist?
