I am not sure at this time. I am going to drop this issue for the time being and just use site-to-site instead of site-to-dynamic on the central router. As I have some other tasks to attend to and I was able to work around things, I will close this issue and come back to it in a few weeks and take note of these items.

I gave something a try but it did not seem to connect. However, I think I had something wrong in a policy. I will be testing again tonight. If setting up the second phase 2 for the other subnet does not work, then I will go with site-to-site instead of site-to-site with dynamic peer and have an easy way to get DNS entries…
