The installation was success when you paired the first Multy, so the main problem may on the Second Multy. The only way to find out the casue is to pair the second Multy as the First one.

What's the Firmware of Multy App? I tested it on my iPhone, and this message never pops up.

You can just simply press the "X" at the corner, and this message will not show again. However, there are few features will require an account.

As far as I know, the system reserved port is designed for some system service. Multy App doesn't support to modify those reserved ports. However, you can set the Multy to bridge mode, and connect it to a router, and set a port forwarding role with those reserved port in the router.

Can you see this folder in the Control Panel on your PC? Try to delete it in here.

Maybe you can try with another ethernet cable. If the Multy X still couldn't work with the internet, and try to factory reset.

What device that the Multy connected to on its WAN port?Router/Modem? You can check the internet ability of Router/Modem. Was everything fine before you moved those Multy? Which mode are your Multy on, NAT mode or Bridge Mode?

As you mentioned, the internet is working, so there isn't any issue of the usage, except the Multy App, right? What are the firmware of your Multy App and Multy X? The latest Firmware of App is 2.3.4. Is the light on both Multy white?

The only issue was when you close to the second Multy, and the connection still remained but the internet would drop suddenly. However, it had no issue when you close to the root Multy. So you…

@jb68 Do you mean that you can connect to Secondary node with wifi, but without the internet? and it works after you reopen the wifi on your iPhone?

Which model of disk are you current using on 2TB and 8TB? If you have do the backup before, you can reset the device
