you can try to access the NAS with SSH and type reboot command to reboot the NAS, After the NAS restart, you can press the power button again, if still not works, maybe the power button is not working anymore…..

I think the device is too old, you can consider to buy a new NAS products.

Sound like there is nothing done and the device get cpu 100%, You can access the NAS by using ssh and type command top to check what service used the most at the moment.

I think the model is too old, maybe you could consider with new NAS model.
