Oh ok thanks for the clarification. That sounds way easier than what I imagined. I tried typing exactly what you wrote in my Windows explorer window and it gave me "\\<ip-of-nas>\ is not acessible". (I'm paraphrasing because I have Windows in a different language) I'm currently connected to the NAS through my browser so no…

Do you know of any good tutorials for this? The one I've found starts by saying I should open Terminal on my Linux machine. Is that even possible on the NAS?

On overview: "Bad 43°C/109.4°F Status: Danger" S.M.A.R.T info says nothing has failed though. What do you make of it?

Well that's not good. Any idea what happened? I get no error message or anything...The volume is just gone. I bought this device to save my data, not have it randomly deleted by the NAS.

The disk is plugged correctly and it shows up in the interface. My "volume" that i created the other week is gone. I can't view my files and apps like tranmission is gone. I assume that my files will be gone if a create a new volume on the disk?

Did you solve the problem?

Is there a similar setup that is more suitabel for Zyxel that you know of?

Also wondering if there is a way to only download certain files on a torrent. On desktop version of transmission you can select "inspector" and chose which files to download...No such option on the NAS version?
