Sorry to revive a dead post but would this still be an issue even though we're running the latest firmware? We've seen a device today suffer with a very similar scenario: Station: f0:77:c3:xxx blocked by Hostapd on Channel: 108

We have been asking for this for a long time. Please can Zyxel update us as to why this hasn't been achieved? It's such a hugely beneficial feature that the community have requested frequently. It's rather disappointing that Zyxel keep sweeping this under the rug.

Hi Judy, Thank you for this - I'm well aware that some of our AP's are in low power mode/have low link speed but what does this have to do with the DCS issue?
-
Hi Judy, Thanks for that - that's done. Just to note: We've had really bad performance on both 2.4ghz and 5ghz since installation and have been trying different things to reduce interference (A lot of our AP's will sit at 80%+ on 2.4ghz and we will see spikes over 90% for 5ghz for some APs) hence some of our AP's are not…

Hi Judy, That's completely unrelated and doesn't make any sense…. You stated: "Verify that you have selected the 'Manual' option and limited your channel choices to 36, 40, 44, and 48 only" Why would I manually set the channels if I want DCS to pickup DFS channels??
-
Hi Judy, Sorry - why would I set the channels to manual (but your screenshot is highlighting "All channels available")?

Hi Judy, That's incredibly useful - thank you. Is there any news/comments on the ability to turn off certain bands on individual AP's. Additionally, can we raise a feature request to show these MAC addresses in Nebula? It would make tracking down interference a lot easier than having to SSH into each AP.
-
Hi Judy, Thank you for this, though whilst helpful, in itself proves there's some issues that need to be addressed here: You mention about using a channel analyser in order to find interference, but Nebula does not show the same/correct MAC address - they appear differently in each of the analysers I've tried. How am I…

Hi, We have the same settings as you apart from only three channel deployment. Changing to four channel or all channels available does indeed reduce channel utilization slightly but we then end up with incredibly unstable wifi that's close to unusable. Is there anything else you can recommend please?

Also having the same issue… turning down 2.4 hasn't made any different whatsoever…
