P.S. The format is EXT4.

It was usb directly to the NAS.. I formatted it first internally. But when I hook it up to usb it reads not formatted. So i format it again via usb. Go through the copy procedure, the lights start flashing. When the lights stop, I check the usb drive and nothing is there!

Don't really know what you mean but mine shows up when I click the network button. I also have a shortcut on my desktop for the frequently used folder. Also for the password mine won't accept a password beyond 8 characters.

Most router will change to the default username and password with a hard powered on reset via the reset button. Now do you remember what the defaults are? For most it is admin and 1234.

Hi Johan. Thanks for your reply. The reason I don't think it's the television is when I plug in the old USB hard drive that most of the "EVO" movies came from it doesn't do it. The file names stay proper. P.S. The tv name isn't named EVO, the movies on the NAS326 names get changed to EVO. Example, A movie tittled…
