Can you just post here the instructions on how to recreate the missing file? Thanks.

I rebooted (twice!) it still gives me the Nebula nonsense warning at login. This time, luckily I managed to log-in despite the warning and see no reference to Nebula what so ever: What is the issue please?

Ok thanks so a network socket exists between all the neighboring AP is the answer I was looking for. Appreciated!

Given the following info: 802.11k helps clients discover neighboring APs, reducing the need for the client to perform off-channel scanning as it makes the decision on the next Access Point to roam to. A client will request a list of neighboring APs in the form of a neighbor report. 802.11k is enabled by default…

I'm very familiar with roaming, please note the title of this thread clearly specifies: seamless roaming
-
I do have fast roaming and each device see each other in the Overview - Ethernet neighbor. Is it safe to assume devices peer to each other to share client information and make fast roaming happen? Or is a network controller really needed?
-
Are you suggesting a network controller is needed for seamless roaming to work properly?

Thank you so much! I went through all the options but I have obviously missed that. Thanks again for the help!

Thank you but my question explicitly stated standalone.

Never mind I did find the issue in the end. The main router had a minor software bug and was reporting the wrong interface number (0-3 rather than 1-4). I've figured that out and swapped port.
