  • Hi @Fred , I was wondering which modem you used to replace the Zyxel. I'm also stuck on Vlans because of lack of support. Best regards,
  • Hy @Zyxel_Cooldia, For tripple play environment, we need two broadband connections with each a PPPOE session with each its own VLAN number. Each broadband connection routed to a local (V)LAN. Connection1 TV : WAN VDSL, PPPOE, Vlan 4, routing => LAN Vlan 4, 192.168.1.1/ Connection2 Inet: WAN VDSL, PPPOE, Vlan 6, routing =>…
  • @HomeUser Forget it, Zyxel isn't supporting this and isn't going to support this.I'm also struggling with an SBG3500-N device for years now and the support is awful and shameless for a E300,- costing device. The only responds is a teamview session, without a working internet connection (great solution, mate). There are…
  • Hi Fred! Thank you for keeping these topics alive!I'm struggling a long time now with the SBG-3500N and it's not the cheapest modem on the market!Zyxel is a bit sloooow and I get the feeling they are ignoring some issues. And yes, thank you @Zyxel_Cooldia for replying on my post too (not) :s @Fred, I don't bridge I need…
  • Hi @Zyxel_Cooldia, Yes indeed. I'm still talking about the triple play environment on which Zyxal lacks support, for a shamefully long time now.
  • Hi, After some time I get the courage back to try the SBG3500-N on my ISP.I've attached the configuration file to this post.I just can't get it to work :anguished: I get an internet IP, with VDSL connection and it's bonded.But I don't get the tripple play to work.
  • Hi Kasper, Did you also post on https://gathering.tweakers.net/forum/list_messages/1832605You are also still struggling for kpn? Yesterday I tried again with the help of vdsl support page of XS4ALL.I got internet working on default "lan" untagged over bonding VDSL. I didn't get IPTV working yet. I created a 2nd connection…
  • Hi, Have you set it to a LAN vlan or did you trunk it to a lan port? Disabled the dhcp on the iptv vlan? I havent sold it yet, its on a marketplace, but i think i'll take it off and re- try it. Zyxel support is very limited (poor).
  • Hi Charlie. Thank you for the detailed report. I don't get it... :/ I'll do a full reset and test it again.. I can't explain this.. I'll also post some screendumps. Best regards
  • Hi Charlie, You setup is equal to my setup. Pc---SBG3500(pppoe)---ISP_dslam(Bonded VDSL PTM) Do you also get any log info regarding the PPPOE session? it's hard to find where things go wrong without a log. What do you mean with "I think the behavior of DSL bonding should be fine", you can't test a bonded session? Best…
  • Hi Charie, If I configure the SBG to use a single DSL: The PTM VDSL connection is established (log show connected, line status, signal strength, etc). THE PPPOE session is also established (global IP, internet working, etc). If I set the SBG as "bonding vdsl" enabled, plug in the 2nd DSL line and reboot the device: The PTM…
  • Well, I've found a way to connect using an eth WAN PPPOE with PassThrough on the ISPs modem. In this configuration I needed to set the PPPOE connection to use VLAN6, this will become the ' default' (V)LAN. And the tripple play content is automaticaly available in VLANs, the fault I made was that I had setup a DHCP on the…
  • Johan all services are in Vlans over PPPOE, and the internet service is on the ISP default routers set as untagged (trunked). ------PPPOE------\ === Vlan4 voip ==> \ -------------------------------- ==> VLAN4=> Voip VLAN4 tagged ISP=== Vlan6 Inet ==> |Router DHCP_client @ Vlan6| ==> VLAN6-> default/VLAN6 untagged ===…
  • Hi Charlie, Ideas section? Well, oke that won't hurt as long as I'll get a working solution ;) Johan all services are in Vlans over PPPOE, and the internet service is on the ISP default routers set as untagged (trunked). ------PPPOE------\ === Vlan4 voip ==> \ -------------------------------- ==> VLAN4=> Voip VLAN4 tagged…
  • Hi Johan, Thank you for your reply. Indeed, you say it just perfect. Indeed, the ISP sends tripple play content over ADSL/VDSL on different Vlans. Normally, the ISP supplies the modem/routers with a fixed configuration, in Netherlands usually by KPN: - Internet through Vlan 6 routed untagged to all LAN ethernet interfaces.…
