FYI, my ticket is still open (from 22 days) with no news from the support. At this point I don't know what to think about, I would not we have defective devices 😕

As not mentioned, it just happened again with a provider other than Iliad after 14 days of trouble-free operation.

To anyone having this issue, could you please check in your log file just after the issue if you have a similar events sequence ? Hi @tonygibbs16 Thank you very much for your reply. I think that my VoIP provider runs a STUN server since, back in March, he provided me the parameters to connect my device to the server together to other suggestions to keep a stable SIP connection. Another suggestion from the VoIP provider was to turn on the "keep alive"…

Hi @Friday STUN server usage was suggested by my VoIP provider to fix disconnections probably due to the fact my 4G provider does not provide a public IP address.

I have the same suspect because I'm currently using another provider (PosteMobile), since April 6, and the problem did not happen yet. Nevertheless there is no assurance because the problem when using Iliad happened on random basis so, could be, will happen tomorrow or never, who knows. In any case the firmware should be…

Hi Rabarbaro, Which operator do you use ? I experienced the problem with Iliad. @All: I would strongy recommend opening a ticket to Zyxel support team in such a way they are aware this defect is affecting many owners. Provide evidences, like the system log, a screen shoot of Ping not working from Diagnostic menu and web…

Sorry, duplicated post

Dear all, I'm the one posted this: Be aware that yesterday I opened a ticket providing a lot of evidences showing the fw is not able to manage a new IPv4 under certain circumstancies. I'm really evaluating to return the device to Amazon and post a review because a similar bug is critical also because, if you don't realize…

Well, this is strange because even my provider periodically changes the IP address (every 12 hours) but Internet access does not stop, except for the sessions in progress at the time of change. A stupid question, but do you use the latest available firmware ?
-
I solved the problem. For some reasons seems that with this SIM and/or provider a manual PLMN selection is required. 😕

Salut Jean Fracoins I don't think we are discussing about the same problem. If I well understood your point that is a well know "problem" where, every N hours, the IPS renews the private IP address causing a temporary (20/30 seconds) black out but, indeed, possibly also causing some issues because your IP has been changed.…
