  • @Mijzelf Ok, I noticed the BusyBox shell with a terminal session. No logs eh? That might make it hard to pinpoint why these services via the web page are throwing up these "unexpected errors". I have a ticket in with Zyxel. Will see what they come back with. Thanks.
  • @Wiasouda Wow! Had to do the 3 beep reset and the password stuck that time. Was able to add myself as a user as long as I didn't exceed the 14 character limit on the password. Cycled the power on the box to verify the new admin password worked and user was still there. Thanks for the tip.
  • @Rory Found out something interesting with the password. If I use 15 characters the page hangs even though the hint suggest 8 or more characters. I saw a quick notice flash up about 14 characters. I used 14 characters and was taken back to the login page, but the new password didn't stick. Admin password still at default.…
  • Figured out the root password and changed via the terminal. Tried adding a user via GUI, but just like changing the admin password, the add user page just hangs.
  • I found all the firmware revision here: ftp://ftp.zyxel.com/NAS326/firmware/ Downgrading was pretty straight forward. Format a USB stick for FAT32, copy all the files from the zip file to the stick. Power down the box and insert the stick in one of the back USB ports. Boot up the box and the firmware gets loaded.   • Strike the RMA. Zyxel sent firmware v5.20. Installed and now have complete access to the box.
