You are absolutely right ticsystems. Sadly we have a 700H in production and with another 700H in standby mode to implement to HA when firmware developed. I've been in constant dialog with Zyxel support for almost a year now to solve various issues. Firmware v1.30 has some hughe in and outgoing internet delay issues. If R&D…

I think it's still called Gold Security Pack…. The part numbers are: LIC-GOLD-ZZ1M15F - 1 month LIC-GOLD-ZZ1Y06F - 1 year LIC-GOLD-ZZ2Y06F - 2 year

Ok, noted

New firmware v1.30 will be released this monday - it should fix the WebGUI issue. Let's see if it will fix the random reboot issue too……
-
Oh, just needed to add a new external interface and not edit the standard default interface….
-
That fixed it on our 700H - are you using the SPF+ for external or internal interface? What firmware level are you on?
-
Run arp -a from a command prompt - copy the mac address of your gateway. In your H series firewall go to Network>Interface>the interface of your SFP+ (ge3) - select Overwrite Default MAC Address and insert the copied MAC address from the command prompt. That should do a workaround to the bug
-
The SPF+ is still an issue/bug - especially with firmware 1.20. I'm using port 13 with a Zyxel SFP+ transciever as LAN connection to our XGS1930. I had to downgrade from 1.20P0 and 1.20P1 to a 1.10P1 beta firmware to make it stable. Zyxel Tech are working on ours to hopefully fix it.

LAG is not possible at the moment - it will be implementet in future firmware release, my best guess will be around august/september

I saw the same CPU core 1 and 2 running high, very high up to 97-98% with site-to-site VPN's active. Very slow internet speed. As soon as i turned VPN connections off, the CPU usage dropped to around 30-40% and i got full internet speed. After running firmware 1.20 for about 2 hours, i rolled back the firmware to 1.10.1

Thanks Emily - seems to be working 🙂
-
Can i do this over TCP/IP? Asking because i might have misplaced the console cable…..
-
I'm running firmware V1.10(ABZI.1)
-
Thanks Peter, it's seems to be working!

I would like to create a secondary interface to my primary static WAN IP on ge1 as a virtual interface. This option is possible on the older Zyxel firewalls. So the command should maybe be something like this: vrf main interface ethernet ge1:1 ipv4 address 192.168.254.1/29 The above gives me an error using ssh. So i guess…
