Issue settled! With my MacBook Air with OS 13.6.7 AND WIFI (NO LAN!) I was able to log in to the UI. Interesting fact: the address for the bookmark changed! Using THIS ADDRESS with LAN suddenly access with my regular Mac was possible. Thank God!
