Is it possible that the issue is related to your PC? Based on your description, your PC is not able to reach the mounted drive unless you reboot PC. If the issue is related to switch, I think rebooting PC will not fix the issue.

As I know, there is one thing related to cloud that is myZyXELcloud. It is a tool to sync your NAS with Zyxel cloud so you can use ZyXEL Drive this APP to access your NAS. It will not store your file.

You can't configure both RAID types at the same two disks due to both types need two disks respectively. Therefore, you need four disks to create RAID 0 and RAID 1

What if turn off Twonky server will CPU still busy?

Have you checked the CPU usage? Can twonky server play the files?

What does the LED of front panel show? always blink or steady on? And, what is your setting about sleeping mode on NAS?

It sounds doable. But, it may take a long time to copy the data back and forth. How about to copy the data to other equipment like USB drive or PC and copy them back after creating the volume for disk group on 4 disks?
