@Zyxel_Stanley : no it doesn't. But since then i switched to a ssl vpn method, which works fine.

Hi, @mMontana : thanks but please read again my first post. The softether issue was simply a additional question. Ok i shouldn't have added it but really the current issue is only with the tutorial made by zyxel campus, and the sec policies that need to be added on the zywall after (in my case it's an issue with port 1701…

Hi Zyxel_Stanley, i don't find anything in the monitor / log for vpn (is it vpn dashboard in the filter ? i also look at l2tp over ipsec...) i just select all logs and the only thing with my ip is: 52022-07-01 15:02:35noticeSecurity Policy ControlMatch default rule, DROP [count=2] distant_client_ip:64434public_ip:1701…

Hi mMontana, I see my post was confusing... the softether vpn server issue is another question. my issue with port 1701 blockage is after following the zyxel campus tutorial. To be clearer, i see on the zywall that a session is started but after 5 seconds it stops with windows 10 saying no response from remote server

Hi I thought i'd at least post what solved the issue, which was due to packet loss (seen in wireshark on the zywall captures). After some pm'ing with someone from zywel, sadly no solution could be found. And the results of this was that some https websites wouldn't load, a lot of download would stop due to data corruption…

Thanks for all the answers. So for the mtu the tool also recommends a mtu size of 1428 (did the check with mtu set at 1500 on the zywall). The opt port gives the same results. i also tried with our spare zywall, after a reset, and just opening everything (no more firewall, no content filter activated...) i still got issues…

For the OPT port, you think there can be some profiling going on ? Since the router is on another site, this test will have to wait until friday. For the TTL, what is the default parameter ? Thanks for the quick answers by the way

@gb5102 : thanks, i didn't the value could be so low for 4G. One thing is that i suppose the provider router is supposed to has the specific 4g mtu setting ? Shouldn't our connection still be at 1500 for the MTU since it's router to router ? edit : i completely forgot the -f flag in ping commands…

Hi PeterUK, no we only have the content filter license. It's got to be a detection process being activated. i can clearly see when DL the msi from eset the speed starting at 2MB/s, and after 1 sec it immediately drops to zero, for a couple of seconds then goes up to 10Kb, for a while, then sometimes finishes if you're…

i'll also point out that our 4G provider says he can't see what's wrong, everything is obviously perfect as far as their router goes
