  • ROFL, and just like that, without doing anything different, it is now loading fine. Thanks for your help @workinto and @Mijzelf
  • Yes, it does. I released the button after one beep and didn't clear the IP. I released it after 2 beeps and heard the 2 beeps it did afterward and it didn't release settings. I know it didn't release settings because when I tried to log in, I used the standard 1234 password and it would tell me it was wrong. I'd then use…
  • All I see in the table is a "Twonky NMC queue Handler [NAS540]" entry, but when I reset the NAS the IP address doesn't change. I have pinged the IP for it and it can be reached with no problem. In fact, as I said before, I can access the shared drives in the NAS, except the ADMIN folder or the web interface.
  • Thanks Jocke, I struggle with external backup that is not cloud because if something happens to my NAS (fire, flood, etc), it would affect the external backup too. I need to look into cloud storage options. So when rebuilding, removing one drive does not remove specific data attached to it? I am not too familiar with RAID…

I have the client connected to the switch as well though and everything else in my network is operating just fine. I tried using a different port in the switch as well…
  • I went ahead and did a factory reset and tried again to connect with the same results. I then took off all 4 HDs and had no change in results either. When I went to my NAS Starter Utility, however, the "Desktop" button was grayed out. Regardless I power down the NAS and powered it back on just to make sure the reset took…
  • Thanks for the responses! When I go to: HTTP://NAS540 Nothing seem to happen. At first the address in the address bar changes to http://nas540/r51166,/desktop,/login.html but it keeps trying to load but it never resolves. Sometimes it will go as far as to show me a gray screen. Some other times will go as far as to try and…
