Power is now reduced with 3dBm for all bands. The ones that I would expect constantly linked to AP "Woonkamer" as they are within 4m range and stationary are: Logitech Hub and iRobot. Galaxy Tab A indeed is moving around, but stays same room, Samsung S7 is moving around Woonkamer/Praktijk/Kastenkamer and Zolder. Best…

Hi Richard, Support is enabled. Details on Org, Site and AP in question are send via DM. All AP are powered from GS1900-8HP or -10HP switches. Signal strength is measured with Wifi Analyzer app on Android phone and Acrylic software on a laptop. Transmit power is adjusted in Nebula so that in each room the device can see 2…

It is confrmed to be an v4.39 issue and once I switched back to v4.38 the session count is stable again.

Hi Emily, No, SSO is not used. I will send you the details in a private message.

Hi Peter, Just to let you know this was the most valued comment I received in years! Thanks big time! I now have reworked our networks and it took some time over the weekend, but I am sure it is way better this way. For the additional requested functionality I now do not need the extra USG, the existing one is sufficient…

Thanks a lot Peter, I was unaware of that option, but it opens a lot of new possibilities to explore!

Thanks Peter, I will follow your instructions and add the routing. As explanation for a VLAN not being an option is that sofar I have been unable to setup Security Policy Rules on VLAN level. The lowest I got is on Interface level, so the rule would apply to all vlans on that interface and that is not wanted here. Out of…

Thanks for the tip. The first command gave an error for me, the correct command was: ip dhcp pool Network_Pool_GUEST I really hope this feature will be removed again in the next firmware update.

I have the same issue and cannot change the DNS settings I manually entered in 4.25 where I need to change the DNS to the newly installed pi hole in the network. The originaly setup was done manually in Expert mode without using any wizard. I am not using/controlling wifi AP from the USG In my case port 5 of the USG 60 is…

One more question: I have now added a laptop to the netwerk running PRTG to monitor the netwerk for a week to see if I ever have congestion. So far all is green, but when checking all switches I found that the number of Oversized Packets is greater than zero for all ports that have a VLAN attached. Uplink port of the -8HP…
-
Thanks Rabbit, as far as I could tell congestion should not be the issue on this location. I am testing the recommended Wifi settings now to see if that resolves the situation, but I also am checking the ISP modem as they seem to change (or ignore) the DSCP levels in their network and forward all UDP traffic as Best…

Thanks Richard for your reply. I will check out that application note. As I do have issues with Jabber for Windows as well from the computer at port 2 that is connected via Cisco Anyconnect VPN to the corp network, can you please answer the QoS question as well?
-
I have now disabled QoS on all switches, setting all ports as follows: and with these settings the Jabber call is reaching the USG60 with DSCP: AF41. Also Whatsapp calls do reach the USG60 with the original DSCP flag. So this results in my original question: with reference to the above Application Diagram: what should I…

Please find below the radio settings for one of the 4 AP's. All have the same settings, apart from the channels. Those are manually selected over 3 bands and the ones that are the most sways from each other do have the same channel setting.

Thanks Richard. As I am off-site today I will have to come back in more detail later, but for now my main issue is that voice call packets that originate from the AP with DSCP set to AF41, reach the USG60 with the DSCP changed to CS1 and are transmitted to the Cisco Jabber network with that level. Return packets from Cisco…
