OK, I understand the connection, but not what "monitoring the traffic" / capturing the packets will reveal. For example with the NR7101 set at 192.168.254.71 and pinged from from 192.168.1.4 I get Destination host unreachable, with these corresponding packets - which don't reveal anything [to me 😕]: tcpdump -i any -c20 -A…

Do you mean connect like A or B?: A: NR7101 ↕️ PoE_Injector ↕️ Switch ↕️ ↕️ PC Router B: NR7101 ↕️ PoE_Injector ↕️ Router ↕️ Switch ↕️ PC

I've tried with a switch in between and IP addresses as above, with no difference in the outcome. What would I be looking for in the packets?

Hi Tony - thanks for your reply, Remote Management is for access via WAN, right? I want to access via then LAN

"But why do you still need to log in to your devices after registering to Nebula?" …because unless you pay ZyXel big money for subscription to be able to actually change the settings on your device through Nebula, you still have to login to the individual device to configure it.

IN the menu under Network Settings > Interface Grouping The configuration page says: Interface Grouping supports multiple ports and bridging groups. Each group will perform as an independent network. I think the idea is that if you have the device connected to another (primary) router in IP passthrough mode, and that existing router already uses 192.168.1.x this gives you a way to connect to this device through that router… …but it doesn't seem to work The setting doesn't seem to take/stick. Mine came configured with…

I discovered that even upon successful upgrade the browser window simply doesn't refresh. It seems you can see if the upgrade worked after 15 minutes by duplicating the browser tab and logging in again

In my case the modem module firmware version did not appear until the SIM was inserted, then robooted AND then connected to the internet

Maybe this is a VLAN issue. The router (Synology RT6600ax) by default expects WAN/Internet traffic on VLAN ID 0. Anyone know how to set the NR7101 to VID 0? (the Manual only references VLAN under Broadband - i.e. for the cellular connection:

Just a thought: are you using your NR7101 as a router or in pass-through/bridge mode?
-
Yes that's what I tried. The router doesn't see it as an internet connection and can't ping

I tried that, but then how do I reach it from a laptop already attached to the primary network on 192.168.1.xxx ?

What about the other parameters? What is meant by: GNSS Information? TAC/LAC/RAC? CQI MCS PMI ???

Same for me Nebula NR7101
