UP! As far as i can see, ZLD 5.39 has been delivered with… 20150921 GeoIP database into firmware. I'm expecting at least than is updated the IP table within any firmware new release…

You can. There's a link in the thread. Try to click it. But really… I'd not use USG 100 device nowadays. Latest firmware is 8 years old, so "security" currently is not a thing on that device.

Hi @AlexandervW would you kindly share which model of device you're using?
-
@xsentinel hi, at the end of the migration/replacement of USG40, if you're willing to share, I'd love to read info, nice things and complicated one from your experience.

IMVHO currently Flex H is not "on par" as features with Flex series. It's important to verify if Flex H will satisfy any of the services provided by current device. Also… Flex series is local and cloud; both paths are available with slight differences between the two admin modalities. Flex H seems a lot "Nebula first", so…

The notice is still bizzare and useless, also than out of target. And due current necessities and budget choices, the match between older and current device has the one reported in the first post, not in the supposed answer. Which currently is not that useful.

(lacking of quoting features make me feel unconfortable) not quite… DMZ host will upload data, and sometimes verify it (thus reading) and… deleting. Application is instructed to check and purge the older backups. Honestly TCP:445 seem "not enough" to me,…

At first installation date was correctly set? In doubt… change it today, simply assure you that… date and time are correct before change the password. If possibile, after a successful login, consider a reboot of the device. Also consider verify that device is running latest firmware version.

I'm also doing the same on USG60 to USG Flex 100… on one side, PITA, on the other side cleanup of older/stale settings no more needed.

Maybe a "private DNS" option on ChromeOS? If content filtering is acting on DNS…

AirPrint is a "cupertino esclusive" (ish). If the protocol works, praise to them. If that does not do what you want it's your wish issue, not them (at least, that what they more or less say). Back to reality: as been stated, mDNS currenty by design is not routable, only multicasted. Some people are trying to deliver a nDNS…

FWIW: too many or too repeted tags = all topics tagged = a lot of clutter and hard to pinpoint what the topic is doing; this is exacerbated by the right column eating up space wit "not so much high" resolutions (1280). Also padding outside and inside the textbox eat up text space, which currently is less than 66%. Add this…

Do security policies allow from L2TP to "DNS" to Google or other external ip addresses?
