I've read about that on zyxelforum.de, which is down now. When I remember well only the Netgear version of the latest Plex works on an NSA.2 -

No. The back USB port and FAT32 is correct, but you should extract the zipfile as-is to the USB stick. So the stick should contain a subdirectory nsa310_fw.1
