https://community.zyxel.com/en/discussion/comment/77160#Comment_77160 Ah shame, but no worries. I think potentially the firmware (or lack of) could just be due to the newness of the device. I'm not sure how long it has been available for. I'm 2KM away from the cell tower and for comparison my stats are: RSSI -60 RSRP -72…

After doing the FW upgrade, have you tried doing a factory reset to see if that helps? Is the problem only when connected via WiFi, or via Ethernet?
-
The NR7302 is an outdoor router, so you won't use the WiFi on that model. It is only for admin access (if it works the same way as the NR7101, FWA710, etc). The NR7302 should be connected back to a switch, or direct into another mesh router to then provide your WiFi. You mention that you are connecting it back to an Asus…

Also interesting that others have similar problem all of a sudden… FWA710 losing 5G — Zyxel Community

Hi @Marino you could possibly take advantage of the 2.5Gb connectivity here, and connect the FWA710 to a "Zyxel XMG1915-10E 8-Port Smart 2.5GbE Access Switch". This, like the FWA710, would be accessible in the cloud via Nebula console. Then connect up an AP of your choice. My personal preference would be the "Zyxel…

Just a quick update. Hoping that after speaking with Zyxel support (who have raised a feature request for me) that we can get an additional drop-down in the band selection menu, so that we can choose "5G-SA/5G-NSA" without a 4G option. The idea being if this disconnect happens it can't fall back to 4G and hopefully would…

@Zyxel_Melen unfortunately this doesn't appear to be an ISP issue. I'm trying a Vodafone SIM at the moment, 5G has good stats according to Router and Zyxel Air app. Yet Router has been up for just 3 hours and in that time it has gone back to 4G. That's two different ISP providers and two different masts / cells. What…

I also plan to do a power down of all kit this weekend, to see if that helps.

https://community.zyxel.com/en/discussion/comment/75981#Comment_75981 Thanks @Zyxel_Melen . When I logged a fault via the app with EE they said there were no issues. I've yet to call to take it further. Current workaround is to take the Cell and RFCN ID's and to add a 4G Lock. It drops randomly, but, reconnects with 5G…

Could be a firmware issue. Wouldn't be first time Three botched and had to do a rollback. https://www.ispreview.co.uk/index.php/2022/05/three-uk-botches-firmware-update-for-new-5g-hub-router.html Have you been on to their support for help?

https://community.zyxel.com/en/discussion/comment/66508#Comment_66508 Is the cat cable and/or POE injector the same one used when you had the original NR7101?

https://community.zyxel.com/en/discussion/comment/65678#Comment_65678 Good find! Latest update changed the behaviour perhaps?! 🤨

Thanks @Termidk - confusion arose as you are using the Nebula NR5101 model which wasn't made clear in your OP. Still, interesting to see you both have this issue. Can I double check you have enabled the syslog slider to save the logs locally yes?
-
Slightly off topic, but, worth noting nevertheless is that the NR5101 will not use the EXT antenna for 4G connectivity. It still relies upon the internal antenna. If like most locations you do not have full fat super amazing stand alone 5G (5G-SA) and instead, like most, use the "fake" 5G-NSA then you will still rely upon…

@Termidk you have a similar issue to @adogontheinternet I note that FW V1.00(ABVC.6)C1 can be downloaded from here: https://www.zyxel.com/global/en/support/download?model=nr5101 I can't see the FW you have mentioned for the NR5101.
