@JackAninco, If the cable is longer than 3m then we recommend using active DAC or Active optical cable if it is short than 1m then use passive DAC.

@Zardoz, The sys LED blinking is because the device fail to finish the booting process. Could you please try to reset the switch to the factory default (by pressing the restore button). If still not work, then please contact reseller for RMA.

@LVRPA, Can you please follow up the below steps to reset, and feel free to let me know if have any questions. 1.) Enter "Ctrl+C", while booting. 2.) Enter "default" to reset to default. 3.) Enter "reset" to reboot and wait for config re-generation 4.) You can find the password and configuration have been reset.
