Please check: You haven’t enabled the SNMP function on the switch or the SNMP community is mismatched. Your switch is unreachable. Please check the connection. The OID you use is wrong. The correct OID is “1.3.6.1.2.1.105.1.1.1.3.1.X” X is the port number. Note: If you encounter any issues, please contact @Zyxel_CSO .
PoE pre-allocation allows the switch to allocate power to each port based on the classification of the connected device. This feature helps in managing power distribution efficiently, ensuring devices receive the required power without exceeding the switch's PoE budget.
The GS1900-10HP supports two PoE modes: Classification and Consumption. In Classification mode, the switch reserves maximum power for each device based on its power class and priority. In Consumption mode, the switch supplies the actual power needed by each device.
If the total power required by PDs (Powered Devices) connected to the switch exceeds its PoE budget, the switch may not be able to provide power to all devices simultaneously. In such cases, consider redistributing power or adding another PoE-capable switch to accommodate additional devices.
The GS1900-10HP switch has a total PoE budget of 77 watts, which determines the maximum power it can deliver to PDs (Powered Devices) simultaneously.
An AP enters Limited mode (1-2 antennas may disable) when it is powered on by a PoE source that is incompatible or insufficient for its needs. For instance, if an AP's specifications require 30 watts but it only receives 15 watts due to incompatible hardware, the AP compensates by operating in Limited mode. This results in…
