You should try ping the DNS on your router to check if it's working. Like @Mijzelf said, maybe there is mis-config of gateway setting.

I think because your NAS326 hasn't install disk (format and configured) to cause this problem. Due to the original file system of your old disk, so your old disk cannot plug and use on NAS326. You need to plug your old disk to the computer and use 3rd party software to backup files.…

Can you check its port number? You can check it on Windows. (NAS -> Properties) Is it port 9001 or 9000 or ...? If it still not works, try reset NAS. (About reset, it doesn't affect data.)

Do you able to access your NAS device now? What is the model name? When you enabled HTTPS on NAS device, you don't necessarily need the certificate and still can access it via HTTPS. Or just download the certificate of your NAS device, then import to the browser.
