Just connected a laptop and the ports are working

The perts at the rear seem dead, there are no lights indicating data is moving,

They are Sonos Play 1. We have two routers covering the two floors of the house. There are only 2 Sonos speakers in the adjacent room. But I have connected the Sonos directly to the rear of the router to alter the WiFi settings of the Sonos but it cant see the speaker. The speakers work fine on the old WiFi router settings.

Would having spaces in the naming of the router be causing a problem?
