Thank you @Zyxel_Judy. One question before I commit: what admin password will the device have when it reverts to standalone mode? Will it retain the password assigned by Nebula, or something different?

@Zyxel_Chris Thank you for your reply. The G108S is on UPS; it is the switch at the other end that isn't, but I have already ordered a second UPS to protect that and the router. So if your question was really about that, the matter is in hand and I'll then have to wait for an opportunity to test how everything performs…

I should have mentioned that the test email sent after changing the email settings from HTML to plain text arrived OK, but the subsequent email containing the most recent log generated an error as before.
