Lucky you!

Thanks a lot. Looks like my upgrade went wrong for some reason, switching from branded fw to unbranded, stock fw. Now I have a nice door stopper - too light, actually :-)

Thanks for trying. So, 1.00(ABQY.6)C0? Well, really weird… is that an EU model? Is there a label on the back with username/password (i.e., admin/1234)? Mine is bricked as of now, no way to get in (and no, VMG8825-B50B admin password generator does not work).

Any chance to get the admin password from the modem serial number for an LTE7490-M904? My device is stuck after a firmware update and the pwd on the label is no longer functional. BTW, modem S/N is as follows: S210Z14014277 (and no, VMG8825-B50B generator does not work). Best - S.

Was the reply intentionally blank?

Yeah, tried several times, no change. My guess: older firmware used a hard-coded password, new firmware uses an algorithmically generated password (i.e., based on modem serial number, like in VMG8825). Is there a possibility for someone to generate such a password, given the relevant data (modem S/N, MAC addres or…

Made hardware reset, but the admin pwd on the label is not accepted as valid, nor is any of the "known to be good" ones…

Nope. Router WEB interface on WiFi is on 192.168.1.1, on LAN it's on 192.168.2.1 - but admin password is not valid on either interface (including UART console)

Yes, of course! :-)

Thanks, but no way. I have access to the UART console, all is fine except admin password…
