Did you map a network drive in windows 10 to that nas share or just used network path to it to play all of these videos?

Do you mean it corrupts data transferred by SMB/CIFS? What about FTP/SFTP?

I had to RMA it. Replacement device has 7 bad blocks in nand, but at least it saves configuration. Thank you!

Did you mean that factory reset from web interface doesn't remove the data? Because on the page 188 of the nas326 user guide there is a warning that all data will be deleted.
